Coronovirus Update

As per national guidance, we are no longer able to book routine appointments. If you have a routine appointment booked with a GP/Nurse, this will be held as a telephone consultation. Thanks for your patients and understanding.


Routine Appointments

We run all our surgeries by an appointment only system.

Appointments can be booked by:

  • Calling into the surgery and speaking to the receptionist
  • Telephoning the surgery on: (0115) 9620932

All appointments with the doctor are booked at 10 minute intervals. If you have more than one problem, please ask to book a double appointment.

Telephone Consultations

Many issues can be resolved over the telephone. Please ask the receptionist if you think a telephone consultation with a Doctor or our Nurse Practitioner might be helpful.

Urgent Appointments

We always have same day appointments reserved for urgent problems that cannot wait a few days for a routine appointment.

Please advise the receptionist if you feel you need to see a doctor or nurse urgently.


Around 50 appointments are wasted each month due to patients not turning up or forgetting to cancel their appointments, so please let us know as soon as you can if you are unable to attend your appointment; we can then reallocate the appointment to someone else.
