NEW PARTNER

The practice are very pleased to announce the arrival of our new partner who joined us on 14th April, Dr Simone Elliss.

UP TO DATE NEWS:

Due to Covid 19 Pandemic we are now not seeing people face to face for routine appointments. However WE ARE STILL OPEN MONDAY – FRIDAY FROM 8AM – 6.30PM and are able to offer telephone appointments for both routine and urgent issues.

We now have an intercom system so you will need to ring the bell and talk to reception. If you have a pre- booked appointment you will be asked to await outside until we call you in. You will be seen by a Health Care professional in full PPE. We ask that you wear a face covering when you attend the surgery.

SO ANY QUERIES PLEASE CALL THE SURGERY 0115 9620932 FOR ASSISTANCE

THANK YOU AND STAY SAFE.

Nominate a pharmacy

We are asking all our patients to nominate a local pharmacy so that we can send your prescriptions safely an securely via electronic systems to your nominated pharmacy.  This is a much safer and quicker way of getting prescriptions to the pharmacy.

If you come into surgery to collect a prescription the reception staff will ask you to nominate a pharmacy and will put this onto the system for you at that time.  The next time you are due a prescription it will go direct to the chemist.

This helps us to manage our prescription workload and may actually mean that you can get your prescriptions more quickly.

CHANGES TO WOUND DRESSING SERVICE From 1st April 2020

The way we are commissioned to provide wound care services is changing.

All patients will be issued with a prescription for dressings and consumables

Please bring all your supplies to your appointment.Failure to bring your supplies could mean your dressing is not able to be changed.

NHS APP

If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.

If you already use SystmOne online you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.
